- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and food safety guidelines
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Assist in the planning and development of new menu items
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate any shortages or needs to management
- Collaborate with other work colleagues to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Flexibility to work weekends, weekdays and holidays when required
- Flexibility to work from 5am when required

- Proven experience as a short order Cook or similar role in a restaurant or kitchen setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary skills with ability to prepare a variety of dishes
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when necessary
