Car Rental Assistant

Rainworth Skoda, the UK's 2022 Skoda 'Retailer of the Year' operate a successful car rental service and are now seeking to expand our Rentals team. Reporting to the Rental Manager the primary purpose of the role will be to assist with the smooth day-to-day operation of the Rent-A-Car department. Your main responsibilities are qualification of customers, processing rental agreements and vehicle handover / Movements.

You will be dealing with the general public and corporate clients both on the phone and in person and the main duties include;
- Qualification of customers, processing rental agreements and vehicle handover
- Processing payments and ID checks correctly, including pre-authorisation / card details / credit checks etc.
- Resolving problems and delivering outstanding customer service
- Vehicle status management / weekly audit of vehicles
- Administration of maintenance on all vehicles
- Recharging damaged vehicles to customers
- Clean and prepare vehicles when required
- Deliver vehicles to customers when required (including UK wide)
- Ensure strict adherence to all the terms, conditions and standards of the VWFS Rent-A-Car programme

**Education, Training and Experience**
- Previous experience in a rental or customer facing role essential
- Experience of working to service levels and quality measures
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
- PC Literate
