Ward Receptionist

A ward receptionist vital role has become available on Ward 305. The ward is a fast paced 31 bedded Medical ward specialising in Gastroenterology.

We are looking for warm, friendly and welcoming staff to join our team.

The post holders need to start at 7am and be able to work till 7.30pm on an early or late shift basis, initially Monday to Friday.

Job share would be supported.

A 4 week supernumerary period with training would be provided.

The receptionist is the first person the patient, visitor and staff see when entering the ward. They are required to welcome and provide guidance as needed. They will need to be confident with IT systems in order to use the electronic patient record systems and manage the medical records. This includes admitting, discharging and making appointments. They will be required to undertake and input monthly audits. They will provide administrative support to the clinical leaders and manage stock of charts and records on the ward.
