IT and Library Services (ILS) provide resources, services and security across the university; our libraries and IT support teams play a vital role in offering high-quality services and state-of-the-art facilities to our students, staff and visitors.

We are looking for committed, enthusiastic and proactive individuals to join the Library & IT Support Assistant (LITSA) team, working across the University of Greenwich Library Services, to contribute towards providing an outstanding student/user experience and customer service.

Key responsibilities include the following:

- Technical support and user assistance with library and IT-related queries.
- Providing a high level of customer service.
- Organising, collecting, processing and shelving library materials.
- Helping users with e-resources, the library catalogue and self-service kiosks.
- Assisting users with a range of IT systems and software.
- Carrying out checks on equipment and library areas.
- Help maintain an environment suitable for effective study.

Important information:
This is a _zero-hour_ contract _up_ to 20 hours per week, which requires flexibility to work across the week, including evenings and weekends, as part of a rota.

You must be prepared to travel to all university campuses for work and/or training as required.

Regular hours are expected to continue until mid-May 2025.

Applications are accepted only from fully registered current students at the University of Greenwich who will be studying in the 2024/25 academic year.
