The Talent Place are pleased to be exclusively recruiting a Senior Procurement Lead on behalf of our ambitious Healthcare client.

**About the Role**

This is a key role in the Procurement team, reporting to the Operations Director. We're seeking a Professional Procurement Leader who will lead procurement activity across both products and services including, Marketing, IT, Professional Services as wellas Direct Products etc.

This is a critical role accountable for managing relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure collaboration and to deliver against strategic objectives.

**Specific accountabilities**
- Priorities in the role will be to establish relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation in UK, continuously assessing department performance, drive innovation and ensure value for money across the supply chain.
- Ultimate responsibility for procurement processes, policies, controls and ensuring compliance across the business.
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of all procurement activities across both products and services.
- Be a business partner and build relationships internally with various Business Units to ensure that the strategy reflects their ability to fulfil Procurement requirements and ensure compliance.
- Proactive management of relationships with suppliers; identifying opportunities for innovation, growth, reduced cost to drive further value across the business.
- Ongoing contract administration of all managed contracts within category, ensuring the contracted service continues to meet business requirements and contracts are reflective of the service delivered and are in line with the contracting policy.
- Management of supplier performance over the life of the contract, monitoring compliance to contractual agreements within category to optimise performance.

**Qualifications**
- MCIPS OR CIPS Qualified
- Approximately 5-10 years business experience, of which at least 5 in procurement
- No language experience is mandated but an ability to converse and engage with suppliers in local language is an advantage
- Strong Business Acumen and analytical skills
- Strong organisation and project management skills
