I'm looking for a Procurement Leader to join this industry-leading niche consultancy on a permanent basis. This is a new role resulting from internal growth and you will be joining a well-established, collaborative, and supportive team who works on some of the most influential infrastructure projects in the UK.

I'm looking for an expert in NEC and JCT infrastructure contracts, and ideally, someone who has a blend of public and private sector experience.

This is a unique role where you will truly be an advisor and consultant to clients across the UK. You will be comfortable developing and delivering procurement and commercial strategies for complex national infrastructure projects, and then following this up with providing training, coaching, and mentoring to procurement and commercial leaders from analyst through to senior leadership level.

You must be comfortable delivering engaging and impactful training and presentations to senior individuals and show a genuine interest in building lasting partnerships with key clients, with the flexibility, knowledge, and experience to change your approach depending on your audience.

This role can be based anywhere in the UK on a remote basis, with semi-regular client travel required nationally.

**Here are some more details on the role**:

- You will join an industry-leading team of procurement consultants, led by a highly experienced Partner, to deliver bespoke procurement and consultancy services to a broad range of public and private clients on major infrastructure, construction, and engineering projects nationally.
- You will support senior individuals in the development and delivery of complex procurement and commercial strategies.
- You will deliver training, coaching, and mentoring on best-practice procurement, contracting strategies, SRM, and tender management activities to clients at all levels from entry-level through senior leadership.
- You will be comfortable balancing strategic advice and support with operational hands-on delivery, ensuring that clients consistently achieve best-case commercial outcomes whilst minimising risk.
- You will manage complex end-to-end procurement projects for major public sector infrastructure projects.
- You will be proactive in remaining at the forefront of your market, marketing yourself as a thought leader and expert consultant to all clients.

**To succeed in this role, you will have**:

- You will demonstrate significant experience on major complex capital projects which encompass engineering, construction, and systems.
- You will have a proactive and consultative mindset - coaching and training/mentoring come naturally to you, and you will be comfortable delivering training and presentations to senior leaders and entry-level employees alike.
- You will have significant experience developing and delivering combined procurement and commercial strategies with end-to-end project ownership.
- You will have a deep understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts as applicable to large infrastructure projects.
- You will take a personal approach to managing and working with clients, with full autonomy and accountability in all activities.
- Ideally, you will have a blend of public and private experience and an understanding of public sector procurement and contract regulations.
- You will be degree educated in a relevant discipline (I.E. Business, Economics, Engineering etc). Master's qualifications in relevant technical disciplines are valued.
- You will have a relevant further professional qualification (I.E. MCIPS, MRICS etc).
- Willingness to travel to clients and sites nationally semi-regularly.
