**RESPONSIBLE TO**:Business Support Officer

**LOCATION**:Office base (Croydon)

**SALARY**:£25,000 to £35,000 (depending on experience)

**HOURS**:37.5 hours per week (full year)

**CONTRACT**:Permanent

WPA is an Educational Welfare provider based in Croydon. They are owned by Outcomes First Group (OFG) who provide a range of specialist services focussed on delivering the best education and outcomes for children and young people. OFG provide schools, colleges and homes across the UK, providing unrivalled support to ensure that each individual achieves the best education and outcomes. The Business Support Officer will work at the WPA head office in Croydon.

As a Business Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative, operational, and organisational support to our company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient functioning of various business processes and contributing to the overall success of the organization. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Manage and maintain calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for executives and team members
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient processes
- Identify operational inefficiencies and suggest improvements to enhance overall productivity
- Processing of schools service level agreements and invoices
- Production of the school operational reports
- Interact with clients, customers, and external stakeholders to address inquiries, complaints, or requests in a professional and courteous manner
- Compile data and generate regular reports for management and other stakeholders
- Assist in basic financial tasks, such as invoice processing, expense tracking, and budget monitoring
- Completion of monthly returns for absence and overtime for payroll processing

- Substantial experience in a administrative role
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, concepts and processes
- Good knowledge and understanding or people management
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written
- Self-starter and competent in using own initiative
- Good financial management skills and financial awareness
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong focus on customer service
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to use discretion, handle challenging situations and confidential correspondence
- Willingness to work towards other relevant qualifications as required
- Undertake relevant group induction training on commencement
- Willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check
