Liberty Speciality Steels have an opportunity for a Health and Safety Training Administrator working in the Rotherham Steel and Bar Business Unit on the Rotherham Site.

The role is to provide admin assistance to the Health and Safety function within RSB specifically supporting Safety Training Coordinators and learning from them their roles and responsibilities.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

As a Health and Safety Training Administrator you will:

- Support implementation of business standards and processes
- Attend Safety meetings, supporting the STC and management team as appropriate.
- Provide support and guidance to management Team within the bounds of your competency.
- Analyse injury information identifying trends where H&S performance is questionable.
- Engage and influence members of management team in addition to shop floor and middle management.
- Ensure following all relevant safety and professional behaviours as to set an example
- Involvement in business Internal audit program as agreed with RSB H&S lead and local departmental auditing
- Develop H&S campaigns in conjunction with STCs and H&S Lead delivering to team members.
- Assist with collation of weekly, monthly, and yearly data in a user-friendly format assisting with ad hoc report request as required.
- Maintain records of training and incidents.
- Regular interaction with team members and safety rep through the delivery of training, facilitation of advice and coaching on matters of Health and Safety.
- Support departments across RSB in facilitation and organisation of training requirements such as identifying and organising internal / external training, helping devise suitable plans for medical compliance, issuing questionnaires and ensuring training records are suitably updated in conjunction with the STC.
- Continual improve Health, Safety and Training materials and systems to ensure more efficient processes within the business.
- Assistance in facilitation and development of departmental induction.

**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- The Administrator should have excellent organisational ability together with good use of IT skills, especially spreadsheets and business systems such as lotus notes and SharePoint.
- Must be able to communicate at all levels and have good presentation skills.
