This is an exciting opportunity to join our Pharmacy Procurement and Distribution team in managing stock holding. We are looking for a motivated individual who has experience of stock management or procurement. The post will cover the following areas:

- Co-ordinating daily stock take
- Investigating discrepancies
- Monitoring short dated stock and identifying areas where it can be used
- Provide support for stores and procurement Technicians
- Facilitating changes in contracts and implementing plans
- Ordering of pharmaceutical stock
- Chasing outstanding orders with suppliers
- Reviewing stock levels and escalating for appropriate corrective action

**The previous experience we are looking for**:

- Previous experience with invoice / credit processing and working with finance issues
- Word processing
- Using Excel spread sheets / Experience of inputting and manipulating data into reporting databases.
- Interpreting reports / statements
- Experience of evaluating and translating information from a variety of sources.
- Experience of communicating with suppliers / customers over the phone
- Problem solving
- Good organisational skills
- Experience of working within pharmacy procurement/ or similar environment
- Stock control experience
- Previous experience with invoice / credit processing and working with finance issues
- Previous experience of using pharmacy computer system
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders
