Senior ATO Storekeeper - Stores and Distribution

Pharmacy Directorate

Band 3

hours per week Inc. weekends, late nights and bank holidays.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Pharmacy Stores and Distribution team. We are looking for a motivated individual who has previous experience within a stores and distribution environment.

The post holder will primarily be working as lead in the Goods Receipt area, and will cover the following areas;

Overseeing the correct ordering, requisition and receipt of pharmaceutical stock Maintain supplies of pharmaceutical stock by identifying stock supply/control problems and resolving them in conjunction with the Pharmacy Leads Communicating problems and progress, to the appropriate person as they arise, in order to minimise risk to patient care. Support waste management, Support robot efficiency and functionality Co-ordinate and supervise the work of the pharmacy support staff and trainees Support stock management

Main duties of the job

The previous experience we are looking for:

Previous experience of working in a pharmacy environment At least 1 years' experience in a similar role. Experience of using computer systems and applications. Previous experience of dealing with customers and difficult queries. Work experience in any of the following is desirable: Hospital environment Stock control Reception/telephone work Stock control experience Communication with internal and external stakeholders

Education and qualifications

Essential

4 GCSEs or equivalent - must include Maths and English at grade C or above - and NVQ2 in Pharmaceutical Services or be working towards. OR 4 GCSEs or equivalent - must include Maths and English at grade C or above plus an NVQ Level 2 in an area relevant to the role and willing to work towards NVQ 2 in Pharmaceutical Services

Experience
