- As a charity, we want to be able to capture as much of our work on camera as possible so we can share all the amazing things that go on more widely.- We need someone to capture our amazing learners from our Mencap Training Academy. This will include taking pictures of our Programme in Northampton on the 30th of April, across two work placement locations, and our classroom. Your photos will then be shared by Mencap externally and internally to spread the word about our work and improve and update our photo bank.**We are looking for volunteers who are**:

- Friendly and approachable
- Reliable and patient
- Confident when meeting new people
- Able to work as part of a team
- Accepting of others who might be different to yourself
- Able to take instructions
- Access to your own camera
- As part of this role you will be need to be happy that the photos you take will be for Mencap, and without the appropriate consent these photos can not be for personal use (including being added to your portfolios). If you have any examples of your photos, a portfolio or social media page please share them with us**You will need to have access to your own camera and ideally have some experience taking pictures to do this role**.**What You'll Learn**:
You can get experience of photographing events and working in a professional setting within the external communications and marketing teams whilst also getting to learn about learning disability and what we do at Mencap. In this role, you will also need to have an understanding of photographic consent, so you will receive training about this before you begin your volunteering.**When do I need to be available?**
- We are looking for someone who is available on the 30th of April in Northampton, to take photos for a few hours during the day across multiple locations.-
