Northampton Northamptonshire, United Kingdom Royal Mencap Society Full time

As a charity, we want to be able to capture as much of our work on camera as possible so we can share all the amazing things that go on more widely.
We need someone to capture our amazing learners from our Mencap Training Academy. This will include taking pictures of our Programme in Northampton on the 30th of April, across two work placement locations, and our classroom. Your photos will then be shared by Mencap externally and internally to spread the word about our work and improve and update our photo bank.
You can get experience of photographing events and working in a professional setting within the external communications and marketing teams whilst also getting to learn about learning disability and what we do at Mencap. In this role, you will also need to have an understanding of photographic consent, so you will receive training about this before you begin your volunteering.
Training and induction
Agreed out-of-pocket expenses to be reimbursed (e.g. travel)
To see your photos used by a national charity
5 million people in the UK have a learning disability.
We have an ambitious vision for the UK to be the best place in the world for people with a learning disability to live happy and healthy lives.
Volunteering with us is YOUR opportunity to help us achieve this, whilst having the chance to develop your skills, meet new people and join a passionate and dedicated team.
