**About the Role**
Ensure an accurate and timely provision of payroll and HR administration services, including monthly MI reporting requirements.
**Principal Accountabilities/Main Responsibilities**
**Operational Accountabilities**
Ensure the accurate processing of weekly and monthly payrolls with the production of payroll journals and reports to specified deadlines.
Submission of personal information and payment uploads within agreed timescales.
Complete monthly third party payment requests via Finance for: SAYE, HMRC Payments, Attachment of Earnings, CSA, UK Healthcare, Busy Bees.
Monthly top up of EDB cards plus staff savings voucher orders and top up requests as required.
Provide a HR Administration service that includes, references chase ups, plus other elements of the on boarding process, disciplinary and grievance documentation, contractual terms of employment amendments and flexible working amendments.
Act as first point of contact for Talent system (HR system) users issues
Ownership for maintaining an accurate management hierarchy within the Talent HR system ensuring all JML processes are executed within a timely manner, allowing for the production of monthly MI to information security, IT and Finance.
Support the HR team with producing accurate and timely data inputs for all processes including performance management, pay and compensation
Maintain employee payroll records so that information is accurate and secure. Data managed may include personal information; job history; retirement and insurance documentation; leave accrual records; and details of illness, absences, transfers, and salary progression
Assist with annual gender pay gap report.
**Team and Culture**

Assist with the implementation of HR policies, procedures and practices.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with the finance function.
Assist with monthly MI absence reports plus Finance department payroll and statistical reports by their agreed dates.
Supply financial budget information plus any other ad hoc payroll / employee data report as required.
Ensure the correct starter and leaver documentation is received and actioned appropriately within Talent and Sage Payroll.
Supply and maintain employee data to support Life Assurance and Private Medical Healthcare cover via third parties.
Maintain the salary data in preparation for any potential annual increase award.
**Risk Management**

Follow and embed agreed risk and compliance policies and procedures
Embrace a positive, healthy and safe work environment in accordance with all appropriate legislation and regulations
Ensure RTI reporting plus all other HMRC compliance is adhered to by their required deadlines.
Ensure Pension Auto Enrolment duties are fulfilled in order to maintain compliance with the Pensions Regulator.
