As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a key role at the centre of our operation, supporting the value added **pick/pack operation**,where every action you take contributes to our customers enjoying their favourite products. Working a **4 on 4 off shift pattern** from **18:00 - 06:00.**

**What will you do & what will you need**

The role will include handling goods from intake through to dispatch, loading and unloading vehicles whilst adhering to our health & safety culture at the site. Scanning and picking different products and moving stock around while working with our heavily invested modern electronic voice equipment. You will play a key role working as part of a warehouse team in a chilled environment, we’ll provide appropriate uniform, but we recognise it’s not for everyone.

Gist **Spalding** is the largest site within Gist’s Temperature Controlled Logistics site network, which manages the transportation of food products from the manufacturer into the retail network. A significant proportion of our Temperature Controlled Logistics network requires temperature control. The site opened in 1992 and services approximately 95 individual suppliers. With up to 200 loads per day and in-bound product from across the UK and the Netherlands, Gist Spalding is one of the busiest transport operations in our site network.
