**Buyer Digital Printing - Inkjet**:
**Job Purpose**:
To control, and influence commercially, the purchasing of proprietary and manufactured components.

**Principal Responsibilities**:
1. To purchase goods and services for Inca at the most economically advantageous purchasing option in a timely, cost effective and ethical manner.

2. To develop long term plans to meet the level of demand and negotiate favourable commercial terms for the company.

3. To promote SLAs using KPIs to monitor supplier performance.

4. To place orders for goods and services and expedite delivery as required, building secure supplier partnerships.

5. To work closely with the Head of Supply Chain to support the management of supplier relationships, deputising when required during periods of absence.

6. To work closely with all stakeholders to provide a professional and timely procurement service.

7. To become familiar with, uphold and adhere to, the Company and Parent Company processes, policies and procedures.

**Knowledge and Experience**:
1. Part or fully qualified C.I.P.S. or I.O.M. or equivalent practical experience and a high standard of general education (minimum A level or equivalent).

2. Previous experience of purchasing electro-mechanical components, PCBs and metal fabrications in a manufacturing environment, including implementing SLAs and setting up of supplier contracts.

3. Proven skills in negotiation

4. Microsoft Office skills especially Excel, and experience of an MRP and TOC system.
