Maintenance Support Executive

This is a temporary role based at the Head Offices of a well known automotive manufacturer in Tongwell, Milton Keynes.

Reporting to the Damage and Recharge Controller, the primary purpose of the role will be to support with fleet in-life processes, focusing on ensuring vehicle downtime is minimised. Support the management of end to end fleet compliance for all mobility assets including cars, commercial vehicles, specialist vehicles with conversions including lifting equipment, refrigeration etc.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Monitor, arrange and administer all scheduled legislative maintenance of specialist vehicle fleet ensuring compliance of LOLER, tachograph and safe load operation
- With the support of the Damage & Recharge Controller maintain good relationships with customers, internal Rent-a-car team and SMR providers effectively, ensuring the mínimalisation of fleet down time to drive significant financial and operational benefits

**Education, Training and Experience**
- Rental experience with the automotive industry is essential
- Fleet management experience within the automotive industry is essential
- Good vehicle brand knowledge and features would be beneficial

**Skills and Personal Characteristics**
- Confident, articulate, with the ability to present findings
- Strong organisation and planning skills, delivering quality output to deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing, negotiation and communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness
- Good working knowledge of MS Office to include Word and Excel
