Maintenance Support Executive

**Job Description Primary purpose of role**:

- The role holder will be responsible for creating effective customer and supplier relationships to help ensure SLA's are adhered to with the objective of minimising vehicle downtime.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Monitor, arrange and administer all scheduled legislative maintenance of specialist vehicle fleet ensuring compliance of LOLER, tachograph and safe load operation.
- With the support of the Damage & Recharge Controller maintain good relationships with customers, internal Rent-a-Car team and SMR providers effectively, ensuring the minimisation of fleet down time to drive significant financial and operational benefits
- Through liaison with the SMR and breakdown provider and repairers monitor vehicle downtime and identify where replacement vehicles are required liaising with the stock & Supply team to ensure provision and return.
- Identify and administer the submission of L.O.U claims to the dealer network in relation to warranty repair downtime.

Provide support and cover for the Damage and Recharge Executive as and when required.

Skills and personal characteristics required
- Confident, articulate, with the ability to present findings
- Ability to develop and sustain positive and co-operative working relationships with a broad variety of internal and external partners
- Strong organisation and planning skills, delivering quality output to deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing, negotiation and communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness
- High level of motivation and commitment - with a real desire to make things happen against key objectives
- Ability to operate without close day to day supervision
- Ability to maintain credibility with locations
- Good working understanding of MS Word and Excel
