**About us**

Maxs Cabin is a local Family Cafe located in the Devonshire inn Layby (EX149NE) and new second location in the Turks Head Lane (EX141BQ) Honiton.

In our cafe we serve high quality breakfasts, lunches, snacks, we have freshly baked bread daily by a local baker, we prepare freshly ground lavazza coffee, we also have a variety of home-baked cakes.

The cafe is run by Klaudia and Rafael.

We have very good experience in what we do. We graduated from cooking schools in Poland, Rafael worked for many years as a pastry chef and baker in Germany.

Cafes are open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 3pm in the afternoon.

Sunday is a day off.

Cook

**Duties**:

- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist with menu planning and inventory management
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations

**Skills**:

- Proven experience as a cook in a professional kitchen setting
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
