In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

**A Typical Day in the Job**:

- To own all first line issues assigned to you and manage to completion either personally or via your wider Dataspire team
- To be responsible for your first line ticket performance on the service desk and encourage best practises across the wider service desk
- To be incident manager for your initially allocated tickets, SLA adherence, breach approach, update frequency and to handle expedited issues
- To identify first line fixes and embed in in the wider service desk team
- Identify service improvements as part of your day to day
- You will be working on a few projects on sites and in schools,
- Installation of hardware and enrolling laptops, setting up new laptops for pupils, configuring switches and servers

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

**Salary, Hours** **&** **Benefits**:

- £18,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday either 7:30am to 4pm or 9am to 5:30pm
- 24 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays

- Excellent communication both written and verbal
- Ability to adhere to processes and procedures

- A passion for IT
- Grade 4/C in Maths and English GCSE or Functional Skills L2
