About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to develop a rewarding career in dairy technology and contribute to the success of Müller.

As a Dairy Technology Specialist, you will undergo comprehensive training through the Dairy Technology foundation degree Apprenticeship in partnership with Reaseheath College.

The program aims to develop high-quality dairy technical skills for future Müller professionals across Process, Continuous Improvement, Production, Quality, and Automation functions.

You will work across our UK dairies, collaborating directly with our Operations team, gaining hands-on experience and training across Production, Process, and Technical departments.

Your responsibilities will involve involvement in various activities, such as audits, product testing, operating production lines, and executing projects across technical, manufacturing, and sustainability.

The training will commence with a blended approach of distance learning and two 2-week periods of release for practical training in a state-of-the-art facility at Reaseheath College. You will apply your knowledge in the business, supported by workplace mentors and academic coaches.

  • Earn a Level 5 Apprenticeship and a Foundation Degree in Dairy Technology from the University of Chester
  • Gain certifications in Level 3 Food Safety, Level 3 HACCP, and Level 3 Health and Safety
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 GCSEs/National 5's in Maths, English, and a Science plus 1 A level or equivalent, preferably in a Science field
  • Flexibility to stay and travel for project work, site support, and college block release (expenses covered)
  • Full UK Driving Licence is preferred
  • Must be at least 17 years old and not engaged in other full-time education

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
