**Business Overview**:
MacDermid Graphics Solutions is a supplier of consumable materials used to transfer images on to consumer packaging materials, our products are used to improve print quality and printing productivity. We produce and market photopolymers through an extensive line of flexographic plates that are used in the consumer packaging and printing industries. Photopolymers are molecules that change properties upon exposure to light.

**Job Purpose**:
Responsible for delivering excellence throughout the customer lifecycle for MGS products including presales, qualification, training & troubleshooting. Key to the role will be travel to prospective and existing clients to discuss technical advantages of MGS products, qualify MGS products to maximize performance, provide on-site training to clients and customers to support the implementation of operational skills and best practices at each site, and troubleshoot including root cause analysis.

**Ideal location, North West England.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide full technical support to MacDermid Graphic Solutions key accounts in line with company sales strategy
- Plan a daily/ weekly/monthly schedule in a customer-focused, effective and efficient manner
- Ensure all customers are regularly visited to ensure that MGS plates and equipment is fully optimized to maximise performance
- Provide in depth plate and print analysis
- Perform plate room audits
- Perform plate qualifications including imaging, exposing and processing
- Provide training and implement best working practices
- Provide press side support for MGS direct and indirect customers including benchmarking and fault finding
- Use remote diagnostics to trouble shoot issues at Customer Sites using SightCall
- Accountable for the completion of assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Responsible for filing reports, travel expenses and monthly summary reports in a timely manner
- Ensure the company CRM and other record-keeping systems contain accurate and reliable information and are always fully up to date

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Understanding of general engineering principles
- Experience in troubleshooting flexographic plate & print issues
- Hands on platemaking experience, understanding production & troubleshooting process issues
- Deep knowledge of all aspects of the flexographic process, pre-press, screening, platemaking & printing
- Knowledge & experience in related fields - colour management and QC procedures
- Experience and ability to work effectively within cross functional teams (Sales, R&D & Manufacturing)
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable to customer demands and changing business needs
- Self-managed and able to organise and prioritise effectively
- Good team player and collaboration skills
- Able to travel extensively throughout “Germany” & EMEAR when required
