**Role Purpose**

To support the Alliance Leadership Team (ALT) both strategically and operationally, to ensure the aims of the PWBHA are met. Acting as an initial single point of contact on behalf of the Alliance for all partner agencies.

Promoting and developing the aims, objectives and benefits of the PWBHA to all potential stakeholders.

Delivering and implementing the annual business action plan.
- Annual Business action planning for the Alliance
- Lead the strategic work of the alliance
- To develop the operational work of the hubs creating consistency
- Lead the wellbeing hub work across the city
- To attract funding
- To support the growth of wellbeing hubs within Plymouth
- To develop an alliance associate’s membership
- Workforce development for hub advisors
- Marketing of the core and associate hubs
- Represent the alliance at forums, networks and strategic meetings
- The creation of a quality assurance tool for core and associate hubs
- Demonstrate outcome and impact of the work of the hub alliance
- Creation of a common reporting structure

**Key Responsibilities**

**Governance and Management Controls**
- To over see and assure the work of the hub alliance in line with the hub governing document.
- Further develop the alliance and associate members.
- To report on the progress of the alliance both internally and externally, clearly demonstrating impact and outcomes achieved
- Ensure all PWBHA activity and work is conducted in line with the governing document.
- Preparation and compilation of monthly Alliance Leadership Team papers (incl. progress reports; budget monitoring; risk management etc.) - in conjunction with the Chair.
- Lead on subcontracting and/or grant making with core Alliance partners and associate hubs.
- Lead on developing and implementing a ‘peer review’ quality assurance process for all core and associate hubs.

**Relationship Management**
- Build high levels of trust and confidence in the work of the alliance with associate hubs and stakeholders.
- To actively represent the alliance on all relevant forums identified by ALT across the city. With a particular focus on adult, families and children’s social care, public health, primary care, mental health, food/energy networks, family hubs, etc.
- Proactively representing alliance aims and activities at forums and discussions to include: adult and children’s social care, public health, primary care, mental health and other key stakeholders across the voluntary and statutory sectors.
- Supporting hubs to deliver against the hub business plan in partnership with all key roles and agencies
- Ensure fluid communication between all the core and associate hubs. to ensure the aims and objectives of the Alliance are fully met.

**Business Action Planning and Promotional Activity**
- To implement the annual PWBHA business plan as agreed by the Alliance Leadership Team.
- Take the lead on all areas of marketing and communications activity for PWBHA with a key focus on developing a significant digital presence including web-site development and social media, ensuring integration with each of the core PWBHA partners.
- To lead on business development activity for the PWBHA. This will include,
- exploration of opportunities to realign and redesign existing services to better meet needs by improving access, consistency and efficiency of services across the Alliance.
- curating and co-ordinating a service offer across all of the core Alliance partners.
- project manage the implementation of new services where appropriate
- N.B. Please note this is a new post created to support an innovative and emerging Alliance of partner organisations. The role will be operating in a fast moving and changing environment and will need to adapt to reflect these dynamic movements. Therefore, the ALT will reserve the right to alter and add to this job description after consultation with the job holder and without effecting the overall character and level of responsibility._

**Person Specification**

**Education**
- Significant demonstrable experience of working at a responsible management level within the VCSE or Public Sector

**Skills**
- Confidence with IT systems
- Ability to understand and use different CRM databases. i.e Charity Log, Evide or similar.
- Ability to review data sets for evidencing need and understanding emerging trends
- Ability to write strong marketing content for digital consumption
- Drafting high level management reports including business proposals for board level discussions
- Identifying key opportunities for the alliance
- Support the alliance with bid writing and commissioned contracts

**Knowledge of**
- Strong understanding of health and well-being, social care and mental health sectors with a focus on health inequalities and approaches to combat these
- Strong understanding of the voluntary sector
- Strong understanding of the principles around contract management and performance management
