Job Title - Associate Territory Manager (ATM)
Are - South West of England (Devon / Exeter)
Portfolio - Pressure Area Care
Reporting to - National Sales Manager / Sales Force Effectiveness Manager
**Role Responsibilities**
The position involves activity to lead to sales in both the Community and Acute sector. Key contacts will be Tissue Viability Nurses, Podiatrists, Third Party Providers, Loan Store Managers, Specialist Nurses, Community and Ward Nurses, Occupational Health,Nursing Home Nurses, Procurement, Clinical Commissioning Groups, and formulary contacts throughout the territory.
The role is home based but requires considerable travel across the territory and from time to time, may be required to support in other areas.
Although full territory responsibility will not be part of the ATM remit, clear guidelines will be implemented supporting appropriate levels of strategically focussed activity across the territory.The appointed person will be supported by both the NationalSales Manager and Sales Forces Effectiveness Manager.
**The Territory Associate will be required to**:
- Promote and sell targeted products to the defined customer base to achieve and exceed agreed sales targets.
- Actively seek and develop business opportunities to drive growth across the portfolio within Acute and Community care settings.
- Work towards developing and implementing a territory business plan working closely with both NSM and SFE Manager
- Gather and communicate customer, competitor, and market information.
- Support and convert new and competitive product users to our products.
- Support the management of relationships with Loan Stores and support on business wins across the territory.
- Create, maintain, and develop customer relationships with opinion leaders and other key customers.
- Ensure all administrative tasks are carried out to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain clear communication links with the Business Development Manager, National Sales Manager and Sales Force Effectiveness Manager.
- The ability to work on their own initiative as well as having strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- The capacity for hard work, dedication, urgency, and self-belief are all pre-requisites.
- Be part of the team, add value and bring ideas to the forefront.
- Work well under own initiative.
**Key skills/Competencies**:
- A high level of energy and urgency to deliver results.
- Ability to learn and use effectively business tools for data analysis and SugarCRM / sales reports (excel) / Power Point.
- A solid ability to manage and maximise potential customer relationships coupled with managing existing customers.
- Excellent organisation skills, forward thinking and an ability to plan accordingly.
- Demonstrate an ability to learn new skills such as negotiation techniques.
