**Full time hours - ( which include alt weekend working )**
- To prepare and serve nutritionally balanced and attractively presented meals.
- To be responsible for efficiency, hygiene, and safety in the catering area.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Help with the planning of daily menus to provide balanced, varied, and interesting meals for residents, providing when necessary for any special diets
- Check on food stocks, lists requirements for re-ordering
- Prepare, cook and serve meals and clear and wash up with the assistance of other staff
- Comply with health and safety requirements
- Ensure that all food preparation surfaces, cooker, utensils, and cooking implements are kept clean

The Orchard Court is a 42 bed purpose-built care home set in the quiet and secure village of South Cave in the East Riding of Yorkshire. As a home, we specialise in dementia care and the facilities we have at hand can cater to all care needs with ease. Orchard Court is a safe environment where all of our residents can feel relaxed, happy and cared for.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
