As an Apprentice, you will be employed, just like anyone else at the company, the difference is that you will be studying towards a qualification.

Any work that you are set within this session is then expected to be complete for the next month’s session. You will be given time each week to do this within your working day/week - so no homework This will all prepare you for your End Point Assessment (EPA) once you have completed all the learning required. **About The Employer**:
Contrac Lighting is a UK Lighting Manufacturer based in Goole East Yorkshire, we have been making light fittings since 1986 and have supplied fittings into many prestigious companies including B&Q, Sports Direct, Breitling, Curry’s Stagecoach, Howdens to name a few. We design and manufacture everything here on site and are one of only a handful of British lighting manufacturers left.

**_ About the Team:_**

The successful applicant will work in a small busy team of six people who between them deal with all the company’s day to day needs and although each have their own specific roles, we all fill in for each other when needed. The team also work closely alongside the factory team which comprises of approximately 10 staff and also a remote sales representative.

**About the Role**:
The successful applicant will work in the main office alongside the existing office team, to both support them in all aspects of the administration function, taking on responsibility for their tasks and duties.

**And Day to Day?. You will be Responsible for**:

- Answering phones and passing calls through to the relevant person
- Organising and managing hospitality for staff and visitors
- Inputting orders, quotes, goods inwards and purchase invoices
- Filing
- Managing duties relating to Social media, for example managing social media posts
- Supporting administration of product design and lighting schemes
- Learning about the products we manufacture to be able to take enquiries
