**Position Summary**:
The **Yard Operative/Handy Person (Joiner)** will work under the guidance of the Yard Foreman, ensuring tasks are completed with a focus on quality, safety, security, and efficiency. This role involves a mix of joinery, plumbing, and electrical work, alongside general maintenance duties.

**About The Role**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Cleaning, painting, and general maintenance of cabins/buildings as instructed
- Conduct site visits to carry out repairs as required
- Check all furniture upon return to the yard, remove it from cabins, and store it appropriately
- Maintain the forklift truck in good and serviceable condition
- Minimise material wastage
- Assist in the safe loading and unloading of cabins/buildings and materials
- Maintain good housekeeping in the yard and workshop at all times
- Adhere to current health and safety legislation

**Skills and Experience**:

- Essential: Experience in Joinery
- Advantageous: Experience in plumbing and basic electrics
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise a busy workload
- Forklift Truck (FLT) driving skills or willingness to learn
- Advantageous: Possession of a CSCS card
