This Security Officer role operates across various locations and offers **days only** shift pattern to

suit your ideal work/life balance.
- No Weekends, nights or bank holiday
- Monday-Friday (08:00-16:00 - 30 minute unpaid lunch break)
- SIA licence
- Driving Licence is required as will be driving SVW vehicle

**Your Responsibilities will include**:

- Conduct physical site security checks
- Complete and submit security event reports and physical security check records
- Responsible for regular checking / auditing of security and emergency response equipment
- Physical security presence at events (as directed)
- Assist with the delivery of Customer’s corporate security campaign
- Local site operator and management liaison
- Promotion of security throughout the Customer’s geographical operating area
- Advise and help to establish the security of the sites
- Assist with investigation of any breaches or possible areas where security could be breached
- Make recommendations to prevent further security incidents
- Be prepared to respond to taskings at short notice
- Assist with supervised access for security contractors
- Provide advice and guidance to Customer staff (as directed)

**Essential Skills**:

- Valid SIA licence
- Driving Licence is required as will be driving SVW vehicle

- Right to work in the UK with a five-year checkable history.
- Excellent customer service, people skills and time management
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
- A very good knowledge of security procedures
- Be able to work on own initiative
- Remain calm under pressure
- Good knowledge of the Customer’s geographical operating area
- Possess a high level of security awareness and knowledge of terrorist threats/tactics
- Must be computer literate
