The post holder(s) will support the Deputy Director of Nursing and Heads of Nursing with the planning, delivery and oversight of quality and safety initiatives for which the Corporate Nursing team are responsible, aligned with the Trust Quality and Safety Strategy.

The post holder(s) will be responsible for delivery of the Ward / Department accreditation programme under the leadership of the Deputy Director of Nursing, which includes support for clinical teams to deliver actions that have been identified following accreditation inspections. Utilising highly developed influencing skills, the post holder(s) will be able to manage change and ensure that changes made in practice are embedded reliably.

37.5 Hours per week

East Cheshire NHS Trust are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to work as part of the Corporate Nursing team, to deliver the Ward / Departmental accreditation programme and lead on the delivery of quality improvement initiatives across the Trust.

This challenging yet exciting position involves managing a range of complex and sometimes conflicting priorities, and you will be expected to work both independently and as part of a larger team.

You must possess excellent communication skills, be motivated and be able to motivate others, as initiating and sustaining change in practice will be integral to improving quality and patient experience. You must be able to demonstrate commitment to managing change by using your influencing skills and joint working with multi-disciplinary teams, and through policy implementation, audit, and positive feedback mechanisms. Given the nature of the role, previous experience in the leadership and delivery of quality assurance systems is desirable, along with experience of implementing quality initiatives on a larger scale and across multiple clinical areas.
