East Cheshire Trust is seeking a highly motivated enthusiastic professional to work in the Estates and Facilities Team as the Estates & Facilities (E&F) Matron.

As a senior member of the E & F team you will help support the departments governance aspirations and policy development, this may be through offering clinical advice or leading on formal incident reviews or investigations. In addition, you will help advise the E & F Senior Management Team on any Clinical considerations on a day-to-day basis to ensure we are providing the best service and care with the patient at the centre of everything we do.

The post holder will need to be strong leader with a proven track record in management, have outstanding communication and organisational skills and will attend senior level meetings for the Trust.

Predominately based at Macclesfield Hospital but travel to other sites in the community may be required.

This is an exciting time to be joining the department with significant investment and development of the current Estate.

37.5 hours per week.

Provide assurance around compliance with regulatory and internal standards of care which includes the quality aspects of the four CQC domains; Responsive, well led, Caring and Safe.

Participate in Quarterly Environmental Audits, Think Clean, PLACE, CQC and other statutory inspections as required by East Cheshire Trust (ECNHST) in relation to the Estates and Facilities agenda.

Lead and advise on Clinical compliance that affects HTM's for Hard & Soft FM compliance. The post holder will be a key member to Compliance related meetings to meet an end goal for safe assurances.

Take lead responsibility for the E & F interface with infection control and any actions required to address infection control issues across the organisation.

Provide clinical input to the Contract Performance Management Audits and will play a lead role with Monitoring and delivering the new NHS Cleaning standards.

Responsibility for the development and acceptance of robust design briefs working closely with the Head of Capital Development, liaison with stakeholders and for the implementation of the commissioning process for construction and development projects on completion.

Deputise for the Head of Facilities Soft FM as required.
