Our cafes provide the social hub of this historic site and you will play a vital part in creating a warm and welcoming environment where our visitors can relax and enjoy high quality food. You will contribute to an inspirational visit to Birdoswald Roman Fort through exceptional catering activities. Responsible for ensuring that English Heritage catering standards are achieved and maintained, and that all legal requirements are met. You will be required to implement the English Heritage (EH) catering strategy of in house food production, maximising income and profit from all catering activities to achieve annual catering budget and KPIs. You will support the Food & Beverage Manager in all aspects of the delivery, presentation and performance of a first class catering experience and will deputise for the Food & Beverage Manager in their absence when necessary.
