An HR function that models standards of desired behaviour within the organisation including openness, transparency, approachability, responsiveness and efficiency Line management of a small HR team (4 posts) Ensuring that the organisation acts in line with current HR law and best practice and has policies and procedures that support this. Ensuring that all HR procedures are simple and are "user-friendly" Responsible for the on-line HR system Leading on recruitment that is innovative and effective, attracting the best possible people to our job roles and staff group. Responsible for effective "on-boarding" and "off-boarding" of employees including comprehensive induction. Development and implementation of performance management across the organisation Providing advice and supporting processes on matters relating to grievances and disciplinaries.
Ensuring a robust system for Learning and Development is in place across the organisation; covering training needs analysis, professional competencies and personal development; supporting activities such as team-building. HR Reporting for the Extended Management Team (EMT) which is accurate, timely and presented in an accessible style. Developing the detail of any restructuring proposals from an HR perspective, where necessary presenting these to Board and sub-committees of the Board and carrying out any required restructuring activity. Work co-operatively with the Director of Finance, Information Central Technology (ICT) and Facilities to ensure that all duties of the organisation in respect of Health and Safety are discharged.
To work closely with the Director of Income Generation to support the recruitment and management of volunteers. To work with the Chief Executive to develop the charity's HR strategy Under the direction of the Chief Executive, supporting Staff Engagement activities.
