Job Introduction Heritage Portfolio have an exciting new opportunity for a **Junior Event Designer **to join and support our amazing Event Design team based at** Musselburgh Racecourse, the second biggest racecourse in Scotland.**
With the popularity of our beautiful venues and events continuing to grow, we are excited to expand our Sales & Events team and welcome exceptional new talent into this newly created role.

In this role you will assist the Event Design team with a variety of event administration tasks for both Musselburgh and Perth racecourses; it’s an exciting opportunity to get involved in supporting and planning events throughout the racing season. You will be based at Musselburgh Racecourse but also spend time at Perth Racecourse, so a car driver is preferred.

This would suit a creative individual with a keen interest in Event planning who is willing to learn and develop If you have a super organised approach to your work and love a high level of administration duties and organising people, this could be your ideal developmental opportunity.

**What you'll do**:

- Assist the Operational Team in the execution of each event.
- Be responsible and accountable for small to medium sized events.
- Become proficient in both the CRM system utilising it for event design and reporting.
- Record and accurately communicate the event details and requirements to all departments and suppliers.
- Ensure the highest level of service and attention to detail is given to clients throughout the whole process.
- Be creative with solutions to fulfil client requirements.
- Be proactive in ensuring all clients are well informed, comfortable and happy.
- Be flexible and able to adapt to change of duties which could include working operationally at an event.
