Are you an experienced teaching assistant with experience working with children with SEMH?

Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in the WF12 postcode who has experience in supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The educator will be required to provide 1:1 support for individualsstruggling in an education setting. There are both opportunities for short-term and long-term positions available in both primary and secondary provisions.

The schools are located in the Batley and Wakefield area and have recently been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide require and additional support to pupils
- Provide intervention support to pupil, including behavioural issues and a range of SEN needs.
- Provide 1:1 support for SEMH.

What will you need to succeed?

Required Skills and Experience:

Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident

Have spent six months or more in the country

Previous experience working with SEND children
