We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and highly effective individual to join our dedicated Pastoral Team. You will be working alongside professional and positive colleagues to help improve the attendance, behaviour and progress of our students. Our Pastoral Leaders are expected to lead and manage the needs of an assigned year group. This is a challenging role and you will be faced with varying scenarios on a daily basis so should ideally possess the experience of working with children and young people in an education or community setting. In addition to relevant experience, we are looking for someone who can be a role model, work alongside senior leaders in the Academy, have the ability to communicate effectively with young people. can manage a diverse workload and liaise effectively with external agencies.
We are looking for someone with a good understanding of safeguarding, and a commitment to continued professional development
The position does include some administrative tasks and requires a good level of IT skills in order to maintain accurate student records, prepare reports and monitor impact through the examination and analysis of data.
**The hours of work are 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term-time plus one week).**
**Pro-rata salary for hours and weeks - £23,062 - £25,902 p.a.**
