**Communities Cheshire West as a One MHA Community Co-ordinator.**
- The role is a
- **Part Time Permanent role of 30 hours** per week spread over 4 days by agreement of the working days. You may be required to travel around the district so a clean driving licence and access to a car is required. You will have specific responsibly for our Green Care Wellbeing project. Some gardening knowledge will be advantageous but is not essential. You will be IT literate and able to carry out light administration duties.
- The One MHA Community Co-ordinator is responsible for coordinating and running a programme of activities, the scope of which will vary depending upon identified needs.
- The role is to provide activities for people aged 55 and over still living in the community. You will also support other One MHA CC’s in residential and community activities in the Ellesmere Port and Neston areas. This is a well-established service with strong networking, partnership and stakeholder working in the local community. All activities will seek to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness and promote the wellbeing of older people across a range of care and community settings.
- This programme could include any mix of activities from MHA’s core service offering. In addition, the post holder will be required to develop new activities based on feedback from service users and identified needs.
- The One MHA Community Co-ordinator will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and so good communication is as important as having strong organisation skills.

**About you**
- You will be a confident communicator and have the ability to effectively lead a team of volunteers, and work with colleagues of all levels across MHA. You will have a high degree of IT literacy and be proficient in using MS Office for record keeping and communications. You will provide administration for our databases, weekly income & expenditure, and other services.
- You will possess a strong drive to deliver high quality services that reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness promoting the wellbeing of older people across a range of care and community settings.
- As a charity that cares for older people, you should be passionate about reducing loneliness and isolation and determined to make a difference for the people we support.
- It is essential that you are able to drive and have use of a car, as there will be some travelling between sites in the Ellesmere Port and Neston areas. Travelling expenses will be paid.
