**Area Sales Manager - Plastic Building Products**

Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Plastic Building & Roofing Products

Area to be covered: West London - Slough to Reading

Remuneration: £36,000 - £43,000 + 20% bonus
Benefits: electric / hybrid company car & comprehensive benefits package
The role of the Area Sales Manager - Plastic Building & Roofing Products will involve:

- Area Sales Manager position selling a high quality distributed range of plastic building products such as: fascia & soffit, cladding, guttering, decking and drainage
- Selling to general builders, contactors, roofline contractors, window fitters, house builders
- Dealing with and selling to national merchants such as: Travis Perkins, Jewson’s, MKM, Huws Gray
- Dealing with a wide range of project sizes ranging from £250 - £20k+ depending on the size and type of project
- Will be expected to learn basic branch responsibilities
- Majority of your time will be spent generating new business
- Will create your own territory starting from Maidenhead (conquering your own back door first)

The ideal applicant will be a Area Sales Manager - Plastic Building & Roofing Products with:

- Must have construction field sales experience
- Must have sold to either builders merchants or builders / contractors (ideally both)
- Ideally have a black book of transferable contracts
- Must have sold a building products
- Ideally plastics such as: fascia, soffits, guttering, drainage, cladding, decking, channel drainage, roof outlets, rainwater drainage, UPVC drainage, windows etc
- Team player, self-motivated and outgoing
- Driven, enthusiastic, focused
