Job Summary:
The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway is primarily ran by a dedicated team of volunteers however occasionally paid work does arise. We have an opening for a Bar Staff & Catering Assistant at Wirksworth Station. The Apollo Bar is set inside a heritage railway carriage providing a warm, welcoming yet unusual setting for customers to enjoy however is still a well stocked bar.

This casual role has variable hours according to the seasonal business with more hours anticipated in the summer season and very little during the winter.

**Duties**:

- Serving alcoholic and soft drinks to customers
- Taking cash and card payments
- Ensuring the Apollo Bar is well stocked
- Tending to the 'cellar' to ensure beer and cider barrels are available, with lines clean
- Ensuring that seating areas, carpets etc are clean and tidy
- Other duties as required

Applicant must be aged 18 or over to work in the bar.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.44 per hour
