A Global business committed to environmental sustainability seek to appoint a Financial Planning & Analysis Lead to join their high performing team. Based in the beautiful town of Harrogate and offering a blend of home and office working, this role presents a great opportunity to join a successful business with a track record of promoting internally.

The primary purpose of this FP&A role is to co-ordinate the planning and delivery of the annual budget and long term plan process together with quarterly forecasts and the provision of accurate, timely and insightful financial management. This role will support the Head of Finance in preparing consolidated reports, budgets and forecasts and also has responsibility for improving and enhancing a suite of timely management information reports for the business to ensure complete financial and commercial control.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Lead, manage and develop a team of colleagues to provide high quality, accurate and timely financial analysis and information.
- Oversee the preparation, analysis and reporting of periodic accounts.
- Co-ordinate the preparation of budget and forecasts and support the consolidation of overall position.
- Business partner with executive and management teams to gain a wider understanding of the business and to provide a greater understanding of general finance, facilitating budget accountability across the organisation.
- Develop, deploy and maintain weekly finance tracking tools to enhance management information and support a culture of ‘no surprises’.

The role would be best suited to a qualified accountant (potentially later stages of qualification or a commercially orientated QBE accountant) with a broad business understanding, and a proven track record in financial planning, analysis and reporting. Commercially focused in order to understand, support & respond to demands from other parts of the business around financial planning and reporting.
