Evolutio is a rapidly expanding, very progressive company providing community eye care across CCGs in east Anglia, east London and Doncaster over the last five years, using an asynchronous telemedicine model. We now have more than 100 employees and design all our own software in-house. We believe that the increasing demands on ophthalmology services must be met with innovative models of safe, effective patient care.

As an Ophthalmic Assistant, you will be integral to the patient experience of visiting an evolutio clinic, where customer service and clinical quality is paramount to delivering innovative medical eye care. No experience required, full training given.

**Duties include**:

- Running supporting diagnostic tests and medical imaging, such as visual fields, retinal imaging, and OCT scans, administer drops and perform visual acuity tests including colour vision
- Responsible for accurate and timely medical record keeping by the clinic team.
- Ensure images and tests are carried out with the upmost accuracy and report any concerns to the clinician
- Ensure diagnostic screening is completed promptly, to ensure smooth running clinics
- Housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and maintaining standards
- General administration to support the efficient operation of the clinic
- Booking patient appointments correctly in a timely manner
- Maintaining patient confidentiality

Full time position

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week hours between 8.30am and 7pm

Pay: £25,007.00 per year
