**THE ROLE**

Due to our expanding client base, we are looking to strengthen our team in our Dundee office by recruiting a **Payroll Assistant **into our Business Services Team. Our Team has an excellent reputation for providing a variety of accounting services to clients, including payroll.

Reporting to a Business Services Manager, you will join our busy team helping to support our client’s requirements.

This is a varied role which involves all aspects of payroll for a range of clients.

Good numerical skills are essential as are excellent communication skills and a keen willingness to learn and develop.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Within this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Providing a payroll service to clients on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis.
- Liaising with your clients and answering queries on a timely basis.
- Processing employee information and preparing payslips.
- Creating, evaluating and submitting reports to clients.

**ABOUT YOU**
- This is a junior-level role; ideally you'll have a payroll qualification or training; however, it's important that you can demonstrate the ability to learn and develop the skills that match the requirements of the role.
- Professional and pro-active, you will be experienced in providing the best service possible to clients with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- You are positive and confident in your abilities, but you're also a kind, empathetic person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- We will work closely with you to continually develop your technical skills and experience and provide any appropriate training where necessary.
