**About us**

The SEN Advisory Service (SENAS) provides high quality assessment, advice and support to schools and early years settings relating to the special educational needs and disabilities of children and young people across the borough of Trafford. We have a strong commitment to multi-agency working, inclusive education, high standards of attainment, and quality of life experiences for all children and young people.

We currently have an exciting vacancy within our team to give support to education settings in order to raise achievement, promote inclusion and improve access to learning opportunities for children and young people with SEND. The post has a specific role in providing advisory support and linking with other agencies for those with SEND overlapping with other vulnerable groups and for monitoring and tracking data for all at SEN Support providing training on inclusive practice and driving consistency of approach across schools and colleges.

**About the role**

We are looking to recruit a teacher who has had experience of supporting, teaching and learning for children and young people with SEND including experience of those with social, emotional needs and mental health needs.

You will provide support to families and education settings in order to raise achievement, promote inclusion and improve access to learning opportunities for Children and Young People (CYP) with SEND, within the Borough of Trafford. You will bring a sound knowledge of SEND and a professional approach to the role and work effectively as part of the team. You will be working alongside team members who are from an education background and hold a wide variety of specialist SEN and Disability-related qualifications, in-depth knowledge and expertise.

**About you**

You will be an experienced, committed and highly motivated teacher with a working knowledge of SEND across all phases of education. You are likely to have SENCO experience and a post graduate level qualification.

A full current driving license and daily use of a car is required.

An enhanced DBS check will be required.
