**Cleaner - Part-time - Special Needs Position**

Cleaner required for 15 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Working hours negotiable, there will be flexibility to do a morning shift and a late afternoon shift. This post is based at our Broadstairs site during term time - 37 weeks. An additional 48 hours are to be worked during holiday periods for deep cleaning, and will include 1 hour per week of training on a Tuesday after school.

The post involves the cleaning of the school and offices in designated areas, to ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout. Applicants should be committed, hardworking, enthusiastic and self-motivated.

**Child Protection & Safeguarding**

Ensure you are aware of all Ripplevale School’s Child Protection & Safeguarding Policies.

Ensure you abide by those policies (names and points of contact for all relevant agencies can be found in the policies on website).

Participate in all Child Protection & Safeguarding training as required by the school.

Immediately report any incidents of a child protection / safeguarding nature.

Be aware that failure by a member of staff to report actual or suspected physical, sexual or emotional abuse or neglect of a pupil is a disciplinary offence.
