**About The Role**:
Are you ready to help keep our community clean and green? You'll be on the move daily, making sure waste and recycling get collected, sorted, and properly managed.

**About You**
- we are looking for someone who loves working outdoors and doesn't mind getting their hands dirty
- you should be comfortable with lifting and moving things around
- it would be great if you like talking to people and helping to solve problems
- don't worry if you haven't done this before, as long as you're ready to learn and work as part of a team
- to be considered for this post you must hold a minimum Category C driving licence, have a current digital tachograph card and evidence of a completed Drivers CPC qualification is essential

**You will**:

- be required to undertake duties in relation to the collection and disposal of waste/recycling materials. You must be prepared to work in all weather conditions, make early starts and be able to work flexible hours.

**Further Information**:
You will work 37 hours per week on a rota basis, to cover early mornings, some weekends and bank holidays. With the opportunity to work overtime available.

The post holder will be responsible for the PPE as supplied.

This is an outdoor role, exposure to all weather conditions, traffic conditions, hazards connected to exposure to dirt, dust and noise. The job will involve handling of chemicals and contact with unknown substances and materials, as well as, contact with the public with the risk of challenge or abusive behaviour.

The post requires a lot of walking, bending and lifting throughout the day.
