Instrument Support Specialist

This role will be part of the North West based team but will work predominantly in the south of the UK
Based in the **South of the UK,** we require an Instrument Support Specialist to work alongside other experienced members of the team within a busy environment covering the south of the UK network of clients, **with a requirement to travel to our Daresbury Site in Warrington **where the main office is.
THE ROLE
- Working face to face with our client network, providing support, training and advice on Mast Supplied instruments
- Involvement in design, construction and implementation of training
- Deliver and install Mast Supplied instruments to client sites including system integration and client training
- Respond to technical support calls, responding accordingly and identifying any areas of concern or improvement
- Support the sales team in demonstrations and other related activities
- Involvement in alpha and beta testing of new software and hardware
**THE PERSON**
- Experience of working in a client facing environment
- Experience of working remotely and as part of a team
- Able to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Attention to detail is a must
- Experience of clinical laboratory working practices an advantage
- Working across different locations is a requirement and therefore necessitates someone who is flexible in their approach
- Full driving licence is a requirement and a licence check will be carried out
- Willingness to undertake training to improve skills
In addition to the specified duties the employee is expected to perform additional tasks when reasonably called upon to do so.
