An exciting new opportunity has opened for an **Events Assistant** within an established college located in Dartford on a temporary basis.

**Duties for this role include**:

- Assisting with the organisation process of both digital and physical events
- Supporting the Creative team with designing and preparing for events
- Diary management; scheduling events, open days, school events and any other ongoings
- Liaising with internal and external parties
- Creating new ways to increase customer engagement, and maximise visitor numbers
- Supporting colleagues to respond to any visitor queries during events
- Representing the college at events, contributing to the development and success of the organisation
- Meeting and greeting visitors into the premises
- Any other administrative duties which may be required
- Previous experience working within an administration within a marketing role
- Exceptional IT skills including MS Office and Excel
- Educated to GCSE level with grade C or above in both Math’s and English
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Exceptional keyboard skills, both fast and accurate
- A strong communicator with excellent telephone manner
- Ability to multitask and stay calm working within a fast-paced environment
- Able to prioritise workload and adhere to tight deadlines
- Basic knowledge of Digital Marketing (Desirable not essential)
- Motivated and driven
