**IT Auditor**

Crone Corkill are now assisting a firm based in the City of London in the recruitment of an IT Auditor. As part of this position, you will be required to travel to client sites based in London, which you will be fully reimbursed for.

Within this opportunity, you will be responsible for the external auditing of IT Infrastructures, Applications and Systems, managing IT Risks & Controls, performing IT Risk Assessments and IT Controls testing, as well as managing and creating reports toensure high quality deliverables.

My client are open on experience for this opportunity as they look to grow the team.

**Key Skills as an IT Auditor**
- External auditing of IT Infrastructures, Systems and Applications
- Working in client facing positions
- Checking the quality of audits being taken
- Creating audit reports of your findings
- IT Risk Assessments
- IT Controls testing
- Managing time and budgets
- Stakeholder/partner management
- Understanding of IT frameworks/policies
- Understanding of Process controls
- Briefing junior staff where required (if you're a more senior hire)
- Auditing certifications such as CISA, ACCA, ISO27001 Lead Auditor etc (Desirable)
- Financial/Accounting industry background (Desirable)

**Key Responsibilities as an IT Auditor**
- Completing audits in line with audit policies and procedures
- Using data and evidence management to consult and advise clients accordingly
- Producing detailed approaches to IT Controls assurance, offering details of potential difficulties that have been/could be encountered and ensuring tests are applied to produce audit evidence
- Driving innovation and continuous improvement on client management and remediation programmes
- Monitoring progress, ensuring budgets are abided by and addressing issues encountered to make sure audit work is finished in budget and within set timeframes
- Signing off on IT audit work and addressing problems/queries prior to sharing findings with stakeholders to review
- Planning how tests are allocated where appropriate
- Ensuring compliance with necessary regulations
