Experienced Office Administrator

We are an expanding company, based in Wythenshawe, specialising in the collection and recycling of all types of batteries, with collections throughout the UK. An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Office Administrator to join our team, to provide administration support.
Good geographical knowledge of the UK is an advantage.
This is a varied role which will entail a range of duties, including, the processing of customer orders, maintaining a close relationship with customers, the sales team and drivers. Managing customers expectations on collections and maintaining regular communication with the customer in relation to all supply chain issues effecting orders.
We require someone to be flexible with working hours, office hours are 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday but there may be occasions you will need to cover an earlier shift of 7.30am - 3.30pm or later 9am-5pm once you are fully trained, so flexibility is essential.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Ensure that customer service standards are fulfilled to the highest standard.
- Ensure that customer complaints or issues are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
- To work closely with the sales team and drivers, preparing collection paperwork and setting up collection routes.
- Maintain office filing and storage systems
- Carry out general administration duties as directed and required.
- To complete all other duties and responsibilities as requested by the Head of Administration
- Accurately update and maintain databases for collection history
- Provide support and holiday cover for the Head of Administration
Requirements: office administration: min 4 years (preferred)
Licence: Full UK Driving (preferred)
