Haywards Heath, United Kingdom Sussex Partnership NHS FoundationTrust Full time

Ready to make a change? Want to expand your skills and work with a passionate team? If you're a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker with experience in mental health settings, we want to hear from you

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Mental Health Practitioner to join the Urgent Help Service a Crisis Team in our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)

You will work in partnership with families to develop personalised care plans that support recovery for those with complex mental health presentations, working within least restrictive principles, and admission avoidance to T4 inpatient settings.

Our multi-disciplinary team consists of Senior Nurses, Registered Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Operational Leads, Consultant Psychiatrist, Graduate Mental Health Practitioners and Support Workers.

This role offers you the opportunity to work autonomously in the community, offering face to face visits to young people across East and West Sussex and will be a key player in service development as we review and expand our service.

If you're ready to take the next step in your career and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply

As a Mental Health Practitioner, you'll play a crucial role in providing care and support to service users with complex mental health needs. Your work will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including other healthcare professionals, social workers, and community organisations, to ensure that your clients receive the best possible care.

Some of the key responsibilities of your role will include crisis risk assessments and risk management, care planning, collaborative working, supporting junior colleagues and crisis duty work to help young people stay in the community.

Overall, your work as a Mental Health Practitioner will be challenging, but also incredibly rewarding. By providing compassionate care and support to service users in need, you'll be making a meaningful difference in their lives and helping them to achieve their full potential.
