Seasonal positions available during the busy summer months at The Castle Inn, Lydford. Positions available within Housekeeping, Front of House and Kitchen Portering.
We know that a great team makes for a fantastic experience for our guests; so the 'right' people are key If you enjoy working in a passionate and ever-evolving environment we would love to hear from you.
Previous experience in hospitality is an advantage but having the right outlook and mindset is often more important Positions will involve evenings and weekends.
Full training will be given in all areas of service and you will be working under the guidance of and alongside a supervisory team.
You have:
- A passion for engaging with people face to face, the ability to create a natural rapport and strike up a relationship with our guests is crucial.
- The capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Smart appearance, with a flexible and friendly attitude and reliability are essential.
A bit about us:
The Castle Inn is a 16th Century pub with rooms in the beautiful village of Lydford in the Dartmoor National Park. We pride ourselves on serving fantastic food and drink with a strong emphasis on local produce and offering our locals and out of town guests genuine hospitality. We are a very busy pub with 13 bedrooms, a large restaurant, two bars, heated and lit tent and beautiful large beer garden.
