We are seeking a reliable and hardworking cleaner to join our team at Ashleigh C of E Primary School, part of the Ventrus Multi Academy Trust.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness in our buildings, including vacuuming, sweeping, and washing floors, dusting and polishing, cleaning lavatories, and removing rubbish.
This is a permanent position working 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a 41-week contract that includes a week's clean in the Easter holidays and a 2-week clean in the summer holidays.
The successful candidate will be working in a team of other cleaners and will be line managed by the Caretaker.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a high level of cleanliness in our buildings
- Perform daily cleaning duties, including vacuuming, sweeping, and washing floors
- Dust and polish surfaces
- Clean lavatories
- Remove rubbish
The successful candidate must have cleaning experience and be eligible to work in the UK with no restrictions.
Applicants will be subject to an online search and will be required to provide proof of Right to Work at interview stage.
